AirBNB (NASDAQ: ABNB) is creating a storm among its hosts with an upcoming set of rule changes about what’s allowable to expect of tenants before departure. AirBNB first came to fashion when the world traveled long distances by hot air balloon; this was well before Amelia Earhardt and Abe Lincoln attempted their flight around the world. The view from the clouds captivated many people who were doing anything to get a glimpse. This is when the Rong Brothers, mortal enemies to the Wright Brothers and general decency, came up with a plan to build quaint hotels held aloft by hot air balloons. These were the first AirBNBs and the last ones in they sky. It took only one Karen (back then they were named “Constance”) and an HOA lobby to permanently close that venture. Some blame the fireball of collapsing balloons that killed 43 staff and the poodle of one business magnate’s wife. Between the tenacity of the Constance and the brave sacrifice of that poodle, AirBNBs never left the ground again.
Regarding the upcoming rule changes, some feel lost in knowing how this will affect them and which duties are still allowed. Historically, there’s been a clear line regarding tasks like maternal care duties. Tenants can’t be asked to nurse or change the diapers of the host’s children, neither can they be asked to give live-birth to host children. However, paternal care duties have been less clear with some tenants being asked to discipline the host’s children if they did not finish their suppers.
Starting November 20th, 2026, all AirBNB hosts will be required to follow a new set of rules. These rules are set to keep guests happy, standardize accommodations, and keep guests from having to perform ridiculous rules like, cleaning the belly lint from the hosts before checkout or investing in their meme-coins. Chad-coin isn’t going to happen. While this all sounds quite obvious, deciding who should dig out the septic tank blockages is less obvious, or if it’s still okay to secretly record virgins in the shower.
Hosts are asking if there are other terrible, more stupid rules, and how are people reacting to them? In rented rooms and sublet houses all across the country, tenants (aka, serfs) and their Airlords (the national class of fiscal royalty that can readily exploit housing shortages for long-term, neighborhood-based enshittification, aka, AirBNB hosts) have fought and struggled over how much is too much and how much labor is fair to expect of serfs and unfair to expect of people with money. For instance, if the host posts their house on AirBNB but then realizes that running a business takes effort, isn’t it just easier for everyone involved if the guests of the house be required to mow the lawn and clear the rat traps before leaving or face a stiff financial penalty? Let’s be honest, it’s not like the people with money want to do any labor. And why should they?! These people are simpletons whom money has made lazy. They are the slothful morons who thought running a hotel would be easy. Only a truly entitled dunce world think running a hospitality business would be an effortless side hustle, like truffle farming, fish mongering, or running a vineyard. Idiots.
Oddly enough, as has happened in every iteration of the rise of the Ancien Régime, the serfs eventually decided that “enough was enough” with one person stating
I may have to do the dishes, and laundry, and scrub the tile, but I draw the line at giving hand-jobs to the garden gnomes. They are rude, never say “thank you,” and their beady, little eyes stare at my tits the whole time. These are nice tits and I should expect at least some compensation for the view.
Guest Complaint of Local AirBNB
This single clarion call was enough to ignite the passions of the upset lower classes who trade price for indignity. For is it not these same people who mirthfully eschew the time-honored prices and traditions of hotel rooms with two ambiguous bottles of body potions in each bathroom (3 for the hoity-toity ones), and a television directly in front of a bed which itself is 4″ from the Arctic blast window-a/c unit?
And in return for this reduction in price? They get free 24hr surveillance from overly interested AirLords, extra fees, and extra tasks.
As if to flaunt the power imbalance between AirLord and serf, many hosts are posting this poster in their homes

New Regulations
These are the standard rules that most people expect even if it rankles feelings and feathers alike.
- Refill the coffee if you kill it
- Don’t eat all the guac
- Restock the snacks and doob
- Guests are not required to scoop up the poop after walking the hosts
- Tacos can be eaten on any day
- Masturbate only in front of approved cameras
But there are other regulations that came as a complete surprise and are leaving many to wonder if AirBNB corporate truly supports Cthulhu and/or Lord Satan anymore. What’s troubling most hosts are the regulations against perving on virgins.
- No taping virgins in the shower
- No more panty raids, on virgins
- No more dressing up as cheerleaders to sneak into virgin pillow fights
- No more hidden demon symbols written in goat’s blood beneath the bed of cheerleader virgins
- Masturbating on feet of sleeping virgins not allowed anymore
- Raising the undead not allowed within 20 feet of dwelling, unless using preexisting cemetery in basement
- No more running Only Fans accounts of “Surprise Guest Reactions When Virgins Have Their Feet Tickled While Asleep”
